A legal disclaimer
Buildxpress Depot ("the Company") provides construction, remodeling, and related contractor services in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State of California. All services are performed by licensed professionals holding a valid California Contractor License (License #1137171). The Company strives to deliver high-quality services but makes no guarantees or warranties beyond those explicitly stated in the written contract or agreement with the client.
Scope of Services
Scope of Services: The Company will perform services as outlined in the written contract. Any modifications or additional work must be agreed upon in writing. The Company is not responsible for delays, damages, or issues arising from factors beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, material shortages, labor disputes, or unforeseen site conditions.
Liability
Liability
Buildxpress Depot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from its services, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or loss of use, except as required by law. The Company maintains general liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance as required by California law, but clients are responsible for maintaining their own property insurance.
Governing Law
This disclaimer and all contracts are governed by the laws of the State of California. The Company complies with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) regulations and other applicable state and local laws.
Refund Policy
Buildxpress Depot is committed to client satisfaction. Refunds are subject to the following conditions:

Deposits: A deposit may be required to initiate work, as outlined in the contract. Deposits are non-refundable except in cases where the Company is unable to perform the agreed-upon services due to its own fault or cancellation by the Company prior to commencing work.

Cancellation: If a client cancels a project after work has begun, no refund will be issued for work already performed, materials purchased, or costs incurred. If cancellation occurs before work begins, any refund will be limited to the amount paid minus the non-refundable deposit and any non-recoverable expenses (e.g., custom-ordered materials).

Unsatisfactory Work: If a client is dissatisfied with the work performed, they must notify Buildxpress Depot in writing within seven (7) days of project completion. The Company will review the complaint and, if the work is found to be defective due to the Company’s error, will remedy the issue at no additional cost. Refunds for completed work will only be issued if the Company is unable to correct the defect and the issue violates the terms of the contract.

Refund Process: Refund requests must be submitted in writing to Buildxpress Depot at 21777 Ventura Blvd STE 246, Woodland Hills, CA 91364, or via email to the Company’s designated contact. Refunds, if approved, will be processed within thirty (30) days of approval and issued via the original payment method.

Non-Refundable Items: Custom-ordered materials, permits, and third-party fees are non-refundable. Labor costs for work already performed are also non-refundable.

Warranties
All work is warranted as specified in the contract and in accordance with California contractor regulations. Materials are warranted only to the extent provided by the manufacturer or supplier. The Company disclaims any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, unless otherwise required by law.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, obtaining necessary permits (unless otherwise agreed), and ensuring safe access to the work site. The Company is not liable for damages caused by client-provided materials or instructions.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from services provided by Buildxpress Depot shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, as specified in the contract, unless otherwise required by law.
